Dear Business Community, The Gardena Valley Chamber of Commerce requests your SUPPORT & PARTICIPATION with its 1st Annual OPERATION BACKPACK Fundraiser! We are seeking donations in the form of school supplies and/or cash, with the goal being to help provide 200 students with a backpack filled with basic school supplies for the 2010/2011 school year. The cash donations will be used to purchase additional backpacks & supplies. The supplies collected will go directly to the students attending Peary Middle School & Gardena Senior High School. With your assistance we believe we can achieve this goal! For your support and participation in this event, if any donation of $ 500.00 or more is given, the Chamber will display your business information on a banner at the event.
